Water temperature & wetsuit guide
The water around Agadir is cooler than most people expect for Africa. The Canary Current and coastal upwelling keep it around 17–18 °C in winter and 21–22 °C at the end of summer.
From May to November a 3/2 mm full suit is the right call. From December to April most surfers wear a 4/3, especially for long dawn sessions. In August and September a shorty or a thin long-sleeve suit is often enough.
