Spot guide

The closest surf to Agadir, just north of the port. Anza has a long beach with sandbanks plus a right-hand point at its northern end, and it's the go-to session when you're staying in the city. It handles a decent NW swell and gets peaky and fun with an easterly wind. The new promenade makes it easy to check, but the industrial port next door affects the water after rain.

Watch out: Rocks at the point; avoid the water for a day or two after heavy rain.
