Grand taxis wait outside arrivals. Expect about 300 to 400 MAD to Taghazout (more late at night) and about 200 to 220 MAD to Agadir city. Agree the price before you get in.
Getting to Taghazout and Imsouane
Agadir Al Massira (AGA) is the airport for the whole coast. From there it's about an hour to Taghazout and 2 h 20 to Imsouane.
Flights
Low-cost and holiday airlines fly to Agadir from across Europe, including Ryanair, easyJet, Transavia, Jet2, TUI and Wizz Air, plus Royal Air Maroc via Casablanca. Routes change by season, so check the airline's own site.

From the airport
Pre-booked transfer
From about €30 to Taghazout and €60 to Imsouane for a private car. Many surf camps include the airport pickup in weekly packages, so ask before you book.
Bus
ALSA's airport bus runs to Agadir (about 50 MAD). From the city, lines 32 and 33 follow the coast north to Aourir, Tamraght and Taghazout for a few dirhams. There is no public bus to Imsouane.
Uber and apps
Uber launched in Agadir in July 2026. Check the app when you land: coverage north of the city may still be limited.
Shared grand taxi
From Agadir, shared taxis run to Taghazout for about 20 to 30 MAD a seat. To Imsouane, about 100 MAD a seat, or 400 to 600 MAD for the whole car.
Renting a car
A car opens up the whole coast: Tamri, Boilers and Imsouane become easy day trips. Local agencies at the airport start around €15 to €25 a day; international brands cost more.
- The excess is often around 10,000 MAD, and some agencies want a credit card for the deposit.
- Police checkpoints are common: keep your licence, passport and rental papers handy.
- Speed limits are 60 km/h in towns and 100 km/h on the N1, with frequent radar checks.
- Avoid rural roads at night, and fill up in Agadir or Aourir: fuel is around 16 MAD a litre.

How do I get from Agadir airport to Taghazout?
The quickest way is a grand taxi from outside arrivals, about 300 to 400 MAD and an hour's drive. Cheaper: the airport bus to Agadir, then ALSA line 32 or 33 north along the coast. Many surf camps also include the pickup.
How do I get to Imsouane?
Imsouane is about 2 h 20 from Agadir airport and 1 h 25 from Taghazout. There is no public bus: take a taxi or transfer, a shared grand taxi from Agadir, or drive yourself.
Is there Uber in Agadir?
Yes. Uber started in Agadir in July 2026. Check the app on arrival, as coverage outside the city may be limited.
